Tongyeong Hansan Battle Festival

Tongyeong Hansan Daecheop Festival is a festival to commemorate Chungmugong's spirit of saving the country and victory at the site of the Hansan Battle, one of the world's four greatest naval battles.

At the festival, K-culture tourism events are held for foreigners to prepare for a leap forward as a global festival, and through the temporal and spatial expansion of the festival, the local night market and tourism market will be revitalized.

Major events include the changing of the guards at Samdo Sugun Tongjeyeong, Samdo Sugun Tongjesa, reenactment of the Battle of Hansan, Tongyeong Turtle Ship rowing contest, Tongjeyeong barracks experience, maritime tour of the victory route of the Battle of Hansan, and cultural and artistic events.
