Chuncheon Mime Festival

The Chuncheon Mime Festival is one of the world's top three mime festivals along with the London Mime Festival and France's Mimos Festival. It is a performing arts festival based on body, movement, and image.

It is characterized by accepting works of various genres beyond the genre of mime, such as modern mime, physical theater, dance theater, farce, and street theater.

One of the pride of the Chuncheon Mime Festival is that it is a participatory festival led by the private sector, created by Chuncheon citizens, volunteers, and numerous artists.

Humorous mime and splendid performances by mime artists from home and abroad unfold, and special programs are prepared for the audience to participate in, experience, and enjoy together.

It has a vast international artist network and lineup with foreign artists participating every year, and its large-scale nanjang program through a festive reinterpretation of the city based on 'Spring, Fire, and Water' is gaining great popularity.
